BRAZIL
I celebrated New Year's 2012 in this gigantic country with three friends. We visited beaches, jungles, and some of the most magnificent waterfalls in the world (Iguazu Falls).
COLOMBIA
My college friend Annie moved to Colombia to learn Spanish and ended up getting married and having a daughter named Penelope. I visited them for New Year's Eve 2004-2005 and met lots of their friends too.
PERU
My brother, our Australian friend Craig and I hiked five days to the famous ruins of Machu Picchu. A very hard walk but a great payoff!
CHILE
River rafting on the Futaleufu River was a dream of mine…that came true! Chile is probably one of the top two most beautiful countries I've ever seen. (The other is New Zealand.)
